Seventeen Contour Kit

Seventeen ' Define & Conquer' Contour Kit / Link  - £5.99

I love a good old contour going on, it's vastly become a staple part of my make up routine, I don't think i'd not even be able to go without a bit of a the old dusting of the bronzer on my face. I have a fair few freckles and do find I do need to be a little careful so I don't ' over do it' but I just think it gives me so much dimension, it takes away from the freckles and being on the pale side it's kinda, well needed. I do enjoy the look contouring gives and I don't think i'm alone in doing it, I haven't quite mastered the whole Kim K of contouring but we need to start somewhere don't we and what a great way to start when these drugstore brands are absolutely smashing it with their kits and their take on the contouring trend that's hit us and the latest 'must have' kits or cheeks.

Okay so let's get onto the review shall we? - how sleek is this packaging, oh yes in true beauty blogger style I've noticed the somewhat Nars esc packaging that I do love. I do find the powders to be somewhat that little tad chalky, not that much of a big deal really, not for me but others it could be, if that bothers you. I found both powders to be decently pigmented and i'd most definitely go with the term ' buildable' which let's be honest is a good thing not bad. The darker powder obviously defines the face and it does but I did have to tap my brush to ensure I wasn't going to end up 'too chalky' and the lighter - highlighter shade illuminates, isn't orange tinged as some often can be, i'm not one for that whole orange face.

Overall / This has wowed me, contouring and kits like this scare me slightly due to my freckles. I'm light handed but it's so easy to 'over apply' minus it's slight chalky-ness it does blend lovely, and effortless. It's definitely buildable so it's fab for the daytime as well as the night time, or those cheeky nights out where you'd be a little more dramatic. The staying power was very surprising as it really did stay put for the whole day and for the whole night - can't complain, I think we can go as far as saying this is a right old bargain. I think it's a product i'll happily continue to play with and hopefully.. Master the skills of Kim K! Ay, it could happen.

Soap & Glory - ' Clean On Me'

Ever since I first discovered this brand, way back when I immediately loved them, they scream indulgence, pink in your face and general ' girly-ness' then they're most definitely for you - even back then, at 17 I fell for this brand, the packaging has changed since then but it's nice to see the 'girly-ness' has remained throughout their products which I find an absolute a winner.. Ay, i'm a beauty blogger of course I love packaging! If you'll know by now, i'm a firm believer I use to be a mermaid or something, a fish perhaps? I just love water and even more so when it's filled in the tub..

Clean On Me / £6.50 - Link

This particular product has always been a firm favourite for me it's definitely one I've repurchased an umpteen amount just because I brimming love it so much and by heck it's worth this review. I'm sure i'm not the only one who sticks to what they know, love and just a classic is always a winner isn't it to be frank ladies - this huge bottle lasts me absolute months, another thing that makes me love this little beaut even more, the price is a barg at £6.50 - I've always returned back to this one, I tend get quite dry skin and this doesn't dry that out even more, it helps to soften and by heck don't my skin feel soft and moisturised afterwards and that's because this contains a built in moisturiser, what a winner.

I tend to be someone that sticks to a product and this stands out big for me, it smells divine and of course it's fragranced with that - oh, so addictive smell that we've all came to adore. This was the first ever product I brought from them that and when 'sugar crush' was in a blue bottle, anyone else remember? - old. What a babe of a product to be honest with you, it's a pale pink - gem.

Thick, luxurious and softening, a must have product that should be sat on all your bath - sides. 'Cleanliness is essential when godliness is improbable' Is this a love of yours too?

Dashing Through The Bath

dashing through the snow la la la - how adorable are lush with their Christmas products? I can't get enough of them but for the moment, we'll talk about this cute little guy I believe he's a new item as I can't recall seeing him last year and this is my second one of him and i'll be sure to be picking a few more up before he leaves the store for good and with jolly good reason - see what I did there? tooooo cheesy? There's nothing like a Christmas bath bomb to get you in the mood and to warm those feeties up when it's absolutely freezing outside - anyone else get seriously cold feet?

Dashing Santa Bath Bomb, £2.95 Link

This incred bath bomb took no time in fizzing away, it smelt very orangey but it does say on the website it's infused with Satsuma's and their one of my absolute favourite pieces of fruit - I happen to adore scents that smell like this and as much as i'm a sweet scented person I do often find myself opting for my citrus scented products for the tub! I personally think this would be absolutely perfect around these Christmassy period in the mornings as it's a very uplifting product, which leaves you raring to go and ready to tackle the shops and puts you in a right old festive mood - as well as obviously leaving your bath with reds, golds and the tiniest amount of glitter which is oh so festive. It leaves you feeling very refreshed and your skin feels so soft and lovely - I suffer with dry skin so that's all a win for me i'm not going to lie.

You can read all about it on the website if you wish to do so, i'd definitely recommend this one as I throughoutly enjoyed him. The cute factor won me over again, such a sucker but it worked, wonderfully. Go get him! x

Sleek - Face Form Contouring And Blush Palette.

Sleek - Face FORM Contouring And Blush Palette, Light. Link

This brand is really hitting it hard in my opinion I can't help but find myself impressed to tells you the truth, let's be honest look at it ^ isn't gorgeous. I personally know from the pallets - i love them! That their products are that pigmented that a little goes a long way and for your pennies, you can't complain.
I did have the intention of picking up a contour kit to be honest - yep, i wanted to jump on that bandwagon - wait am i too late again?! I couldn't find the Contour Kit sadly but after a few sobs i did see this sticking out of the shelf - multipurpose, and my? Is that a rose gold blusher i spotted? Oh nelly, yes.

The Palette itself is a must've - it's perfect. The Contour powder is a warm matte shade doubling up as your bronzer, The Highlighter is somewhat of glittery one, it's not chunky as ugh. Who's after a highlighter with chunky glitter?! It's beige and sits on top of cheek bones and brow bone gorgeously and effortlessly even this worn alone is lovely. The Blush is what excites me the most a beautiful rose gold shade with a gorgeous peachy, orange undertones it reminds me a lot of the coralista shade from benefit - it's so beaut on those cheeks it's very glowy too so this itself works as a highlight too - £9.99 and available in 4 shades, I personally like to apply the contour powder with my Real Techniques Contour Brush, The blush with my Real Techniques Blusher brush and the highlighter with my Setting Brush as it's perfectly small so it's perfect to dab on the top of the cheek bones - it's beaut.

How much do you want this now? I'd definitely say this could be used for just a blush, highlighter and as a bronzer - those who do contour like myself i think you should pick this up, it's absolutely lovely. I personally love to contour as i'm fairly pale and fair skinned and i think it just adds something, warmth and dimension to my face i have freckles and can sometimes find wearing certain products quite difficult and can find bronzers to appear quite muddy looking on my face, this however as I've picked up the kit in - light. It's been working lovely and i love how this looks on my skin personally. What a steal!

Have you picked this up?

Uh Oh! Boots Buying.

As you can see, it appears I have walked into a boots store, got myself carried away walked out with a bag full or two. A long ass receipt and a dent in my bank balance, when one needed new make up, one did exactly that, boots is fantastic for making you spend - all these offers, what's a girl to do? I have desperately wanted to try some of these things for a while, some have just been on my wishlist - others well accidently fell into my basket - it happens, right? ;) here's what I've picked up:

Soap & Glory ' Love At First Blush'

This is so pretty, when the colours are all swirled into together on the cheeks it just looks stunning, it's works as a highlighter too so its just perfect, I can definitely see this being a stable for everyday.

Soap & Glory ' Supercat Fat'

I was really attracted to this eyeliner, I don't have one that's so fat to be honest - it's got all these little sides to the applicator that makes it easier to use, it's a quite a scary concept at first as it literally is like applying eyeliner with a marker pen, its pretty scary seeing that come toward your eye, it works insanely well though!

 Seventeen - ' Conquer Kit'

I have been after a product like this for quite some time, I love the concept and I absolutely love bronzer and contouring - I myself, am quite pale and freckled. I have to say I have found products like this to add so much warmth and dimension to my face, very looking forward to seeing how this plays up, I have loved using it so far, It might be featured very soon.

Sleek - ' Oh So Special Palette'

This was just a repurchase for me as mine was stolen, I knew I needed this again - so beautiful and so essential I've been known to use the pinks for blush, the browns of my brows and the black as eyeliner it's just an all rounder, it's brilliant.

Sleek - ' Contouring And Blush Palette'

I'm so impressed with this brand, i'm so gutted I don't have a stand where I live, i'd be lapping the products up into my collection, I loved this - it's perfect, the bronzer is so warm, the highlighter is beautiful and my, is that a rose gold blusher? oh, well yes it is.

They're Real Mascara - Benefit.

I needed a new one, I have had this before i'm going to keep it simple and tell you it's incredible, I don't think i'm going to use anything else again, that's how much i'm in love.

Soap & Glory Kick Ass Concealer

This is applies so well, it's so creamy and it's really impressed me - I've used this since I've got it, the coverage is really lovely.

 Soap & Glory Archery

Best brow product in my opinion, I absolutely adore this - was needed to rebuy.

Soap & Glory Arch De Triumph.

Having so much love for their Archery pencil, I thought i'd give this ago, i'm hoping it lives up to it's sisters shoes.

I also picked up the That Gal Primer, I have posted that and did a indept review on a separate post - as well as this, I've purchased the Rimmel Foundation listed above in the photo, this is amazing the coverage is really high and for such a cheap price it's amazing, I have also purchased a trusty Collection concelear as you've all seen and loved, i'm sure and a trusty Rimmel Stay Matte Powder so cheap but so good, I hope you've enjoyed this post, I plan to review some products I've posted as some I've just fallen head over heels for but if there's anything you'd like to see then don't hesitate to message me, lots of love.

Pores, Be Gone - The Body Shop, Pore Minimiser.

Two weeks or so of owning this - and it's fastly became a skin staple in my eyes. I tend to be prone to blackheads, ew but we're to be honest here, blackheads seem to like to hangout on my forehead and on my chin, buggers. Thus, making those two areas my 'larger pore' areas - this little wonder, has already impacted my skin, i cant say it's all this guys doing - i have been using other things from this range too, however in terms of my pores they've reduced and blackheads? What blackheads.

When using this you need the smallest amount, i tend to only really use this where i need too - as well as reducing your pores, it has a slight tingle sensation for me, most products in this range do from what I've felt, after I've used the lotion i'll apply this afterwards as i feel the lotion dries out my skin - in a good way! This then adds the moisture that's needed, i love the tea tree inside of it, there's something quite satisfying about this in terms of that, knowing your skin is being treated and it's doing wonders on those pores, lovely - it applies smoothly, doesn't sit on top on the skin - sinks in very fast, effortless. - it's a lovely base for make up, my foundation went on lovely i'd say it lasted but to be honest foundation lasts quite a decent length of time usually anyway, but i'd definitely say for someone who doesn't normally use a primer beforehand that i'd definitely try this, for sure - it really helps to keep make up out of your pores too.

Overall - I have noticed quite the difference with my pores, my blackheads have definitely cleared up my skin's texture just looks so much brighter, glowy and clean - the whole range is blimmin' fab, it's really worked magic on my skin, expect reviews on the rest of these products because right now, i'm in love - when it comes to skincare, the body shop don't cut corners, their products are brill and there certainty is something for everyone, if you too have combination skin or bigger pores then I feel you should defiantly give this a go, it's fab. I love it.

Balmy For Revlon - Thoughts & Swatches.

i know i'm rather late on this whole lip crayon bandwagon, hell no - i'm way later than i expected. However, being the huge lip product lover that i am i figured it only be right that i get my two cents worth into this - these are incredible, i think I've been living under a rock i really do, like where have i been?!

These innovative chubby - lip crayons are so good, i chose the shade striking as i knew i could make this work daytime when it's getting into it's colder months, with a beauty smokey brown eye look where i'm sporting my thick woolly tights and during the night when i'm out for food with a more paler eye - so practical! They're very velvety, so moisturising non drying formula but they're matte on the lips as their name claims. I really really like these, i'm kicking myself i didn't pick up more - town seems to be calling me.

My Thoughts?
This is very smooth to apply, very effortless and highly pigmented, myself personally I tend to prefer a more matte finish on my lips so these are right up my alley! I find the staying power quite surprising as it really stayed put on my lips. This is incredibly creamy which I just love, I love a product that you can just pick up apply and away you go, the whole twist up - no sharpener, which I always loose. Is fab as it's just again, so easy to just wind up and apply, the application is fast, effortless and the shade range of these is second to none - I need more, basically. I  think these are incred, the texture is fab, everything I love in a product, they're well worth the pennies - not that they're expensive. I really love this whole crayon type product - packaging. I even own eye crayons that are similar, i'm going gaga for crayons, say it isn't so.

There's A Volcano In My Bath!

Oh god, who else is just so tempted to sing out ' sex bomb, sex bomb your my sex bomb?!' Seriously though, most cringe song award would go to that song without a doubt. Now, if you'll know me you'll know i'm a complete mermaid, not a wannabee - i totally know i already am. I absolutely love being in the water and when it comes to a bath, god i'm in one for ages, who isnt? I have came to the conclusion that you can't really be in a bath tub without a lush product in there, i don't know who else will be with me on that? But it's very true.

Buying things in lush is so easy for me - everything that's pink, smells sweet and screams out at me in the baskets gets brought, it's simple. But, i can't say my bank balance agrees half the time. I can't remember if i've used this one before - it's hard, i've owned so much in that shop but i don't have a memory of me physically using it so i'm guessing not, this screamed buy me - i'm girlie, pink and purple and you need me in your bath, after smelling it decided that for me, i'll be honest. The little rose bud at the top or if it's flower petals is also such a nice little touch, it's so cute and now it's making me feel so sad that i've used it - but how would i be able to review it otherwise?! This trip i didn't buy enough, i do usually pick up like two of everything i like, however. This time, rushing that and the women was pouncing on me, i'm a shy shopper!

Can i just say how blimmin difficult it was to get pictures of this - i think it's the fastest fizzer i've had yet, so quick. I felt so absolutely anxious yesterday - it was the anniversary of my gramps death, sadly and it brought it all back up for me, usually when i'm sad and down i then get anxious feelings also crop into that. I thought this one as it smelt of jasmine and sensual smells and i thought it smelt so calming! So i grabbed it. After using this in the evening it had completely calmed me down and helped me out so much i then discovered this on the lush website: When you've got that feeling - tired, stressed out and anxious - you need some sensual healing. The fragrant blend of jasmine, ylang ylang and clary sage will feeling in the mood.. Jasmine is an ancient aphrodisiac, used as a sensual perfume in India for centuries and in aromatherapy to ease stress and anxiety. Clary sage clears the mind, while ylang ylang is renowned for soothing worries.

Before even knowing that it is a fab bath bomb to use when you're having anxiety or suffer from it i instantly did feel so much better, it's made me so happy knowing they do actually have a product for that, fab. I now need a few more of these in my stash. My only downside is how quickly it dissolved, it was so fast. It still smells absolutely incredible, felt so soothing and was so nice to bath in - i loved it so much. It's quite a big hefty bath bomb i found for £3.20 and for what it offers especially for an anxiety suffer was fab i thought.

It leaves you bath pink, what's not to love?
