CHRISTMAS TAG

How fast has this came around!? Scarily fast - Seeing, as it's almost upon us, i say this but it's almost here i'm soo excited I can barely type, not going to lie. I absolutely love this time of year, scrooge i'm definitely not. I can't wait for the turkey and for my family to rip open their presents and wake uo next to my love, I say wake up - i'll be jumping on him at the crack of dawn, I love everything to do with Christmas, the coming together of the family, giving and ripping open presents, the dinner and I think my absolute favourite thing of all is sitting around the tree, the smiles and the happiness and just being with my family, i'd choose that over anything, here's my tag - I've tweaked here and there but nonetheless enjoy.

What is your favourite Christmas movie/s?

Oh god, I love so many!! I think i'd easily sit all December watching every single one. I love home alone, who doesn't?! I think i'd have to be somewhat mad to of not heard of those. Jingle all the way, the Grinch is my all time favourite, Jim Carrey at his best i'd say. Elf of course, love love love elf! Annabelle's wish was a big one i'd watch all the time with my brothers, National Lampoons Christmas Vacation is another good one! I'd love to say Miracle on 34th street, but in all honesty I've never ever seen it, shock.

Do you open presents Christmas eve or Christmas morning?

Always Christmas morning, it's always been that way. However, it's become somewhat a tradition as I've gotten older that my mother would allow me one to open, she'd choose the most smallest of all mind you, but it just gets my heart racing even more. I really really wish we'd leave them till after dinner though or keep some aside for the evening or something as I just love to prolong the day, sadly we don't do this though.

Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?

Aw I do! Every year when I was little my grandfather would always buy me a beautiful dress to wear for Christmas day. I remember seeing them hang over the door with lovely little shoes with bows and frilly socks, I absolutely loved wearing them too, I felt like a princess - I absolutely adore my grandfather. Another was one morning waking up to this pink Barbie car that you could drive yourself, loved that so much. I also received one of those old school huge play kitchens, anyone else receive these? A little cooker, sinks and the taps would make a noise as if real water was running, loved it so much.

Favourite festive food?

I'm actually one of the fussiest people you'd meet, I miss out on the good things. That's me though, I do really love the turkey etc I just don't like most things that other people do.

Favourite Christmas gift?

To be honest, I never want anything. I pretty much love everything I get from everyone. I'm always so grateful  for me, it's mainly having my family around.

Favourite Christmas scent?

Love walking past the little market stalls and all the different aromas flood your nostrils that's so lovely, Christmas candles also, love them. Tinsel and the smell of real Christmas trees in the air and of course, when your mum and dad get that turkey going, mmm!

Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?

Everyone seems to all flood around my parents till god knows what time, then we decide it's time for bed. I always like to pop on some Christmas pjs and have myself a lovely bath and then pop on a Christmas film, i'm always waaay to excited to sleep but I do enjoy the build-up!

What tops your tree?
A yellow star!

As a child what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?
I have a feeling I would've asked for something really crazy but mum and dad always got me such amazing presents, I was a quiet child and loved usual things a little girl would. I'm always so grateful with everything I receive.

What's the best part about Christmas for you?
For me it's never been the same since I lost my uncle four years ago, however. The coming together of my family I feel, this tops everything for me, sitting around that tree and gleaming I love that, we're all so happy and loving.

I Hope all your homes are filled with joy and laughter, smiles and lots of food. Thank you for reading my blog, merry Christmas xxxxxx

From left to right: Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette, Benefit They're Real Mascara, Benefit That Gal Face Primer, The Body Shop All In One BB Cream & Benefit's Christmas Cheeky Sweet Spot Blusher Palette.

How scary it is how quickly this month came and passed through i'm very very very, yes that did require 3 very's to empathise just how excited I am for this month and the build-up that is Christmas - I absolutely adore everything about it and it's got to be my most favourite time of the year, hurrah - i'm just so ecstatic I honestly just cant wait but at the same time i'd like it to go slow, I cant' handle how quick it's here and then gone - so please, Christmas I beg you, slow this year ha. Onto the matter in hand, another month over and another beauty favourites - I've haven't yet jumped on this so bear with me but here goes - from left to right listed in the above picture:

Urban Decay Naked 2: I think this has to be the most wanted, blogged about palette it's an absolute must have and a dream to use from everything to light shimmer shades to dark shimmer shades, it's a must. I have loved using this throughout the month, it's so lovely and you can definitely create a different look every day with this, I have been experimenting a lot more with make up this month - doing lighter looks, one shade all over the lid and warm smokey eyes to suit my darker lips and this has seen me through and it really doesn't fail me whenever I use it or whatever look I decide I want to sport on my peepers, it's my favourite and actually the only naked palete I own in my collection, I really want naked three though.

Benefit They're Real Mascara: oh lawdy, this is the best mascara I have ever used - that's quite a statement but it really is, I love it so much. Whenever I use this I receive compliments asking how I make my lashes look so full, so long and what mascara i'm using and this is the beauty. It lengthens, curls and adds volume, I really really like it to tell you the truth, well worth its £20 price mark in my opinion! It's all I reach for and I've never really been one for 'the best mascara' to be honest, i'd just use whatever was there, but I think this is my favourite one yet - will be a repurchase.

Benefit That Gal Primer: This actually happens to be my absolute favourite product from benefit, it's the second thing I ever brought from the brand. I'm still using it - four years on, so that's making a pretty big love statement for a product if there ever was one to be made. I use it often, not everyday as I don't always use this for priming as I don't tend to always need that, it's beautiful under foundation and has such a lovely glowing properties to it and it's just gorgeous on the skin even worn alone, for some one with a bit of a dull complexion - I just love this.

The Body Shop All In One BB Cream: I know it's winter, one tends to opt for a fuller foundation which is true, I do too. I have been loving this throughout the month and I just putting some powder over the top and i'm really good to go! I really love the glowing properties this has, the coverage is actually buildable its just lovely on the skin and so natural looking, I didn't really love this to begin with but a few uses and I think it's nice for winter too, nothing wrong with glowing skin all year round.

Benefit Christmas Christmas Cheeky Sweet Spot Blusher Palette: If you don't have this in your collection i'd most definitely recommend you try to get your hands on it - it's my absolute favourite thing I've brought recently! I love all the blushes from benefit, i'm not always a fan but there's just look so lovely on my cheeks with my freckles etc, I really rate the brand as you can tell ha - I have loved and used no other blusher on my face than these, I can't even tell you one is used more than the other as I adore all of them.

I'd add some more bits in here, although they'd be added just because, other than the lipstick by kate moss in 107 which I just adore so much, but this is them - thank you ladies, what's your November favourites?
